When it comes down to it, copywriting is really no more than a printed sales pitch. If you can sell in person, then you should be able to sell in print.

In fact, some copywriting coaches will tell you it’s easier to turn a salesman into a copywriter than to turn a journalist into a copywriter. Why? Because the salesman already understands how to get sales!
